What has been everyone's experience with training inclusion as a writer?

Generally, my employers have been between ok and generous when it comes to including us techcommies in training. Sometimes, we have had to ask (have you asked?) to be included. I probably don't have to tell you to have your justification ducks in a row when you do ask.

Sometimes, TPTB don't see how a particular training session can be helpful to us. It's up to us to educate. And yes, sometimes they just don't think it's worth the dime.
