I nodded in agreement to Iggy's earlier post in
this thread.
However, the number of users who simply are not
aware that there is a Help file available is high
(despite the presence of Help buttons and Help Menus).
Training helps get the message out, and that is a
good thing.

Further, while embedded Help may be a good idea
(there are costs associated with it in terms of
on-screen real estate, if nothing else), redesign
doesn't address the immediate problem. Embedded
Help, if implemented, has to wait for a future
release of the software.
