When it's something that somebody on the list offers (sample templates
etc) that I was interested in I'd reply with a 'Yes please' and end with
TIA or something similar, indicating the request and my appreciation in
the one message. If it's something that comes out of a dialog I tend to
reply with a thank-you and some feedback as to the usefulness etc. It
really is a bit of a balancing act between being polite and clogging up
bandwidth.
