I'm not supposed to ask usage question, so I'm not doing it. I'm just
complaining. No one answer me, certainly not on list.
I am going through the Microsoft Manual of Style for Technical Publications.
I understood this to be the bible, the actual word of the Industry, and I am
studying, studying, studying.
Try as I might, even referring to other reference books like The Gregg
Reference Manual, I can't see a consistent use in it of italicizing a word
or putting it in quotations.
If they don't know when to do it correctly, how am I supposed to know?
The book is seriously inconsistent.
There. Now I'm going to send this email. Maybe Eric won't ban me.
