That's interesting, because I got my start in tech writing doing just
that...writing for the GPS system as it was being deployed. Recently, I
told my son what I had been doing, and he was upset that I didn't take him
to work one day! At the time, I had no clue as to the future ramifications
of our work; I was simply a college student with a family trying to earn
some money.
I wonder what some of us are working on today that our children and
grandchildren will view in awe or horror?
