I think you need to look up "steganography". It has hit mainstream
awareness recently due to its use in the movie "Along Came a Spider", but
it has been around for a while. The links below are just the first two I
hit, trying to find the word for it. I'm sure a search for the word itself
will give you more info than you'll ever want. :) I know the tools
available for it vary in price, scope and reliability, so I'd suggest some
cautious "shopping around" before picking a winner.
