The User Manual Manual : How to Research, Write, Test, Edit & Produce a
Software
by Michael Bremer

Wade,

As I write this, that book is looking very dignified on my bookshelf. It's
in excellent shape too.......because I haven't had time to read it yet.
However, I did read the first few chapters of Bremer's other book
"UnTechnical Writing."

Bremer has a very easy to read style and walks his talk by being funny and
clear. You will not find a lot of our jargon like data points, or dpi or
whatever else. You will find a very practical book that is very easy to
read, understand, and apply. The only drawback would be its lack of
academic depth. However, that is also its strength. I hope that helps.
