On the other hand, slugs probably don't suck up air as much
as they aerate the soil in which us flowering leaders thrive and grow. So,
here's to slugs, and may they continue to slither in my garden.

OTOOH: Slugs contaminate and munch on our beautiful prose, asking us to revise such elegant sentences as...oops, just signed an NDA -- sorry.

As a tech writer and gardener, I have to proclaim that slugs do more damage with their bleeding-edge synergistic nocturnal prowls than the day-loving plain-speakers they hire to do their writing for them.
