Hey, if it's not about technical communication take it off-list.

and into the back of a car where it belongs.....

however more seriously, on a point of technical communication, the actual
statement:

"I think I love you"

now that is not correct. Love is something that has to be complete - the
same as you can't be a little bit pregnant, you are or you are not. You are
either in love or out of love.

For example, the procedure would read:

Step 1) Introducing Party-a, select type of alcohol.

Step 2) Introducing Party-b, press Radiant Smile.

Step 3) Cue violins, cut to shimmering gauzy lens, dim lights so they look
their best.

Step 4) Activate Cupid.
Long silence.

Step 5) Party-a to Party-b, "I love you".
Thus, at least, in Party-a's opinion they are in love.

There are different shades of love, different degrees, but again you are
either in or out. Similar to a room - you can step in, or step out. If you
are "out" thinking that you are "in" the room doesn't mean anything.

Just an observation from someone who should be working. Hope this helps with
explaining how things should be clear in a document - whilst there may be
many shades of grey - to introduce those into documentation or relationships
may lead to confusion and misunderstanding. The dog is black or white -
saying "it might be a dog" means it could be a cat or, when in Peru, a
llama.
