I'll shamlessly plug my employer here.

IntraLinks workspaces are online environments that you
create and maintain. People to whom you grant access
use their Internet connection and a web browser to
enter the workspace. The workspace allows you to:

- Allow team members and partners -- particularly
those outside your company -- to access project
information without the need to provide them access to
your company's network.

- Enage others in online discussions, with the ability
to specify which workspace participants can "see" each
discussion.

- Post documents such as Word, FrameMaker, or PDF
documents, again with the ability to specify which
workspace participants can access them. For example,
your draft of a product guide is ready for review, but
you don't want Marketing to see it yet. No problem,
just submit it only to the development team.

It's a very powerful service. Although we're marketing
it mostly to financial and pharmaseutical firms,
there's no reason why other industries can't find uses
for workspaces.

If you would like more information without a sales
pitch, feel free to contact me.
