Subject: UNIX or Unix?

Quick question: I know I've seen this before, but I can't find it.

I know that the proper reference to "UNIX" is all caps, rather than
"Unix". But I can't remember, and can't find, the authoritative source
on this. I'm editing someone's copy, and I'm going to have to justify my
correction.

Can someone out there help? Thanks.
