Yes. I had that problem. I upgraded to Acrobat 5.0, print to the distiller and all is peachy.

Greetings!

I am having a problem that I am sure many of you have had. My PC was just
upgraded to Word and Windows 2000. Because my manuals are written in Word,
then PDFed (don't you love how that's a verb now?), we need a special
postscript file that was not included or the timing was off or something.

We recevied the following message while trying to install the Adobe
PDF-maker:

"The Acrobat Distiller Printer requires the Windows 2000 PostScript driver.
This driver is not installed on your system, so the Acrobat Distiller
printer will not be created. To create a Distiller printer, please install
any PostScript printer and rerun this installer."

This seems to be a problem with release times of Word 2000 and Adobe 4.05
and is described on Adobe's Knowledgebase. Word was released after Adobe
and didn't include the PostScript driver. They suggest downloading the
distiller file I need. The only such file that my IS person can find is for
Adobe 3.02 and won't download.
Has anyone out there solved this problem? How did you do it?
Thank you!
