Apparently our printers are set to the max of 600 dpi. Any ideas of what I
can do to stop it from "chunkifying" the printer's pixels?

Your printer prolly has a res of at least 300dpi. Screen res is approx
100dpi. So it has to chunkify the "printer's pixels" to print it to the
right visible scale.
