Sue Gallagher wonders: <<I used to use HTML Transit to generate large HTML
projects from Word, but a few years ago they priced themselves out of my
reach. I can't even find a current price on their Web site, which leads me
to believe they haven't come back down to earth. New job, same problem, now
I need to find a new HTML generator... Is anyone using Word to Web from
SolutionSoft?>>
One thing you could try is to combine Word's HTML export (using a newer
version of the export filter, which is supposed to be greatly improved) with
Dreamweaver, which has a specific function for cleaning up Word's HTML.
Plus, you're enough of a geek (I mean that in the nicest possible way <g>)
that you could probably write up your own Word macro to do a lot of the
export work. If the documents you're converting aren't too complex, it
shouldn't take very long to write a basic converter.
