Fellow scribblers:

Public transport has taken to heart the exhortations to "deliver
documentation Just In Time -- when it's needed" and "get documentation out
of the manual and into the interface".

On several Ventura bus routes I have seen new yellow Ventura signs with
blue arrows directed at bus drivers. They are placed just before turns and
intersections to indicate to the driver which way to turn to follow the
route.

And outside Richmond railway station Monica, my wife, saw a new sign
directed at train drivers reading "Have you made your announcement?".

Perhaps this is so they can use work-experience drivers to save money?

Regards,
Hedley
