For two decades, technical communicators have turned to TechWhirl to ask and answer questions about the always-changing world of technical communications, such as tools, skills, career paths, methodologies, and emerging industries. The TechWhirl Archives and magazine, created for, by and about technical writers, offer a wealth of knowledge to everyone with an interest in any aspect of technical communications.
Would that there were :( What passes for a distribution list is whomever the
writer thinks to copy.
Unfortunately, the project is a low priority, internally, and the
"development process" at this point is really the developers doing what the
project manager tells them. They've pretty much abandoned the official
product dev. process. :( There's no official e-mail distribution, no dev web
site, no....
I'm whining, right? :)
Anyway, the project's 99% done at this point (off to "beta", which is really
an initial release) on Monday.

If there's an interoffice email distribution list for "Development", you've
got to get on it. Even if half of what flashes past you is irrelevant, at
