Using Paint Shop Pro, you can set up the capture feature for "multiple
captures" and determine how to trigger each capture (such as by a
user-defined softkey).

To use this technique, start the capture feature in PSP, then go to the
application you're documenting, and every time you want to capture a
screen, press the F11 key (for example). You won't see anything happen;
PSP is capturing the screen behind the scenes. When you're done going
through the application, go back to PSP, and you'll find a stack of
windows containing images of the screens you captured.

Using this method is very quick and easy, but you DO have to remember to
hit the designated softkey for each screen - there's nothing to indicate
whether you have or not. But you can go back to PSP to check; you'll just
need to re-start the capture feature before you resume your work.

I've found I prefer Paint Shop Pro's capture functionality to SnagIt, but
either one will probably solve your problems.

Hope this helps!
