Speaking of "perfect manuals" ... we just received one of those "air beds",
the everyday bed to replace your regular mattress, not those "extra" beds.
Guess it was time to get off my waterbed ... or so my chiropractor begged
me!!
Anyway, we were trying to put the bed together within our waterbed frame
with their *very* scant "instructions"!! (4 half sized pages) Half way
through, as we're trying to follow the step by step instructions, we had to
stop and back up, because the information wasn't in the proper order!!
After a bit of cursing, I stood there and said - "With the little bit that
I've learned about tech writing so far ... *I* could write directions twice
as good as these!!!" I'm tempted to rewrite them and send them to the
company ... but why do something for free! :-)
By the way ... thanks to all for the help ... made my job that much easier!!
