Bill's short answer is correct, with one caveat: watch out for the type
of keyboard connector. Newer keyboards might come with a USB connection,
which would be useless for an older PC. Some PCs use a fat 5-pin DIN
connection, some a slimmer 6-pin mini DIN (also known as a PS-2
connector). Adaptors to make one type work with the other are available.
