Joann Hackos, in Managing Your Documentation Projects, mentions using an
"industry-standard estimating metric such as 5 hours per page" (p. 171, para
2) when beginning to track projects. She also shows a sample estimate for
context-sensitive help at 4 hours per topic (Figure 8.15, p. 170). Are these
estimates supposed to include everything to do with producing those
products, such as QA and revision cycles? Or just to the original writing
itself? TIA,
