Your position sounds very much like the one I accepted back in March. I
re-write and update old user manuals; create new user manuals; write online
help using RoboHelp; proofread for several publications we sell; test,
proofread, and write copy for a CD we sell; and assist the webmaster with
updating and maintaining our website. And recently, I was named publisher
of our knowledge-base we are creating for our website to assist our clients
and in-house staff with support issues. My position is actually part of the
communications department in my company. They gave me the title of
Technical Communicator/Proofreader. Hope that helps.
