Or someone tells you you are going over budget.

On the current project, we were writing a series of nice short, two
page or so documents.

Along the way, I was quite happily learning a ton of stuff about
electric retailers in a deregulated electricity market. A couple of
times, the project supervisor quietly reminded me we were only allowed
ten hours per document, including time for editing and validation.
