One reason that project management tools are acquired is in an
effort to change cowboy cultures into civilized, predictable
cultures. Conventional wisdom has it that such cultural
transformations are a necessary maturation process for businesses.
So, bringing in such a product may be part of a deliberate
strategy for change.

Some people, also, have a natural inclination to be part of an
organized, highly controlled situation and are just uncomfortable
in the wild west. So, bringing in such a product may be an
unconscious attempt for that person to make things comfortable.

I'm not taking sides, just pointing out some things to be aware
of before they bite you.
