Sorry...couldn't resist. The dev web server that I'm working on is
down and the techie is out to lunch.

.....no, really...he's eating!

Which brings me to a real question.

I'm managing the content of an intranet (until Friday...hint, hint),
and my whole job revolves arouund having access to the web site.

If you are a contractor, and maybe if you are a FT, and the
server/network/etc, that you MUST work on, is down, due to no fault
of your own...how do you handle it?

Do you go home and if a contractor, stop drawing your pay for the day
or do you sit at your desk and play games, read emails, surf the web?
