I contracted at a telecom company who sold documentation on CDs. Just
the catalog alone of the software listings was over 100 pages. We
only half-joked that with a complete set of Cds, we could create our
own phone company.

The division responsible for the documentation was a company within
the company. Had its own Exec Director, staff, wing of the building,
and repro center. The Exec Dir ws brought over from Dun and
Bradstreet Publishing.
