:: The way that I've done this is to create a character tag
:: (called Link), and
:: to tag all the links with this. When you give the files to
:: your client, set
:: this tag to As Is for everthing except color, which should

:: whichever color you
:: want).

I think I misread #2 when I first replied, as I thought that the links were
grayscale as a result of a non-color driver. Geoff's method works. Another
would be to define a "link" condition where you define the color
accordingly. Turn condition indicators off when publishing for print, and
turn them on to get the color in the online PDF. But don't turn the
condition off, as then you won't have any links in your files, resulting in
possible holes in your documents. Geoff's suggestion might make more
practical sense, as you don't have to tag every link - it's automatically
updated when you do an 'update all' from within the character designer. But
if you'd rather not go this route, the condition is another option. Yet
another option is to have a Print set of templates and an Online set. Apply
one for print, and another for Online. But if the link character format is
the only difference between the two, then this approach would surely be
overkill (best reserved if you're changing page sizes and multiple paragraph
and character attributes).
