Anyone out there in Tech Writer land living and
working in Austin?
I visited recently and fell in love with the area.
After a lot of soul-searching, I've come to the
conclusion that I would be a much happier person
living somewhere a little less ... gray ... than
Cleveland. Obviously, I'd like to find a job before I
make the plunge and move across the country, but I've
heard many rumors about a tightening job market.
Does anyone have advice regarding the Austin area, its
current job market, the best contracting
firms/headhunters, or relocating in general? Feel free
to reply to me off-list if you prefer. Please use dannikt -at- yahoo -dot- com -dot-
Thanks for all your help on this question -- and in
general. Subscribing to these lists has doubled my
knowledge of the industry!
