Subject:index and compile problems in RoboHelp From:Sean Hower <hokumhome -at- freehomepage -dot- com> To:"TECHWR-L" <techwr-l -at- lists -dot- raycomm -dot- com> Date:Wed, 20 Jun 2001 11:24:20 -0700 (PDT)
Hi all
I have two RoboHelp related problems.
First, when I compile a project in the RoboHelp Explorer, and try to run the project from the RoboHelp Explorer, an older version of the help appears. If I open the help file from Windows Explorer, the newest version of the help appears. Does anyone know why? Can I fix this? It's not really a problem at this point, just a minor annoyance.
The second problem is a little more serious. I am creating an index in the same help project. When I save and compile the project, I get the same problem stated above. When I use Window Explorer, however, the newest version of the help file appears, but the index remains unchanged. I discovered that if I move the cnt file to a different folder, the updated index works fine. As soon as I put the cnt file back into the folder, the index reverts back to its original (non-updated) state. Does anyone know why this could be happening and/or can you give me some suggestions to fix this? I'd really appreciate it!!! :)
