I read this post and chuckled, remembering that just a few months ago, several people on this list advised lying on a resume...



Back then, we were discussing tools and how not having experience in a specific tool shouldn't be that big an issue (although it is). Several people said pointedly that if you don't know the tool, you should lie and say you do, and then learn the program before you start the job.



To me, lying to a potential employer is wrong. Any time you lie, you take the chance of getting caught - and getting a reputation as a lier.
