Business has become far more mercurial than it was even a decade ago. And
while it must maintain a solid house to retain profitability, the internal
function of what some staff does can shift from task to task. I have found
that people who can facilitate those shifts are the one who tend to stay or
get retained for additional work. This does not mean becoming a chameleon
with a keyboard, it does mean that where we belong changes. How we respond to
those changes, decides which of us belong.
