The quote is:

It's from an early 20th-century "sportsman/outdoor" writer named George
Washington Sears, who used the pseudonym "Ole Nessmuk" (I can't guarantee
the spelling of that).
It's one of my favorites, and it's nice to see that someone else likes it.
