When doing a repetitive assembly task, most workers will only check the
instructions and/or schematics during the setup of the production run or the
beginning of a shift. Factory workers are not going to stop and read the
procedure every time they perform it, and if they do so their output is
going to be so low that they probably won't hold their jobs for very long.

I used to assemble a particular automotive part so often that I had every
component part number memorized and only looked at the schematics once a day
to check for revisions.

someone needs to get more information. Getting someone to review the
spreadsheet for every part number in a repetitive process will probably
never work.
