I found an interesting article in the Washington Post about an increasingly
aliterate American population. There were a few tech writing tie-ins --
including a few design "tips" for packaging (pretty timely since we've had the
software box packaging conversation this week) and for web pages. The article
is much more focused on how aliterate people function in society and the effects
of aliteracy in terms of comprehension of certain concepts. I thought it was
worth sharing ... here's the url:
