I am sure this is a serious inquiry.
According to the contracts between the (German) company I have worked for
in the last 5 years and their customers, I had to deliver a "User's Manual"
and a "User's Guide" for the same machine. I always asked the project
managers what the difference between these two manuals is, but never got an
answer. I always wrote only one book and called it "Operation Manual".
