I am just getting around to this system myself.

This is the method I intend on using:

1) Create a document variable to keep a comma-delimited list of reviewer
names. These will be available as pre-done groups, or custom entries.

2) sub Autoclose, if the root dir is \\server\testing then email each
recipient, and update review log with outstanding reviews with a default
date of two weeks.

3) daily run a scan of the outstanding review log and notify all reviewers
overtime.

Do any of you have any good processes or tools that help you notify a larger
group of users that a document has been added, changed or updated within a
particular directory of "Final Documents"...

Our document control process is having difficulty with adding this step into
the process so that sales and marketing knows when something has been
changed/added/updated.
