More than once on this list I have heard people ask about how to in the door
as a tech writer. It usually sounds like they have had a tough time. I was
wondering how difficult is it for an entry level TW to get a job at the
companies represented on this list. I know around here (Santa Barbara, CA)
the seems to be far more jobs than applicants.

UCSB offers a tech writing minor and I have seen companies offer $40,000
plus to grads right out of this program.
