I know most of you are taking this tongue-in-cheek, and maybe I need to get
a life. However, I _love_ the idea of a quill pen ring. It could be designed
somewhat inexpensively by a Techwr-l's relative or friend.

If Eric and Deb are okay with the idea, the ring could be sold via the T-L
Web site, with maybe a small margin of profit for the Ray's and all of their
hard work.

Or, stop this thread and stop teasing me. I want a tech. writer quill pen
ring! I really, really do.

Brian Hoskins suggested a quill pen behind the right ear. Maybe he's on the
right track. In the Boy Scouts the badge worn by the Troop/Post Scribe is a
quill pen. The US Navy rating badge for a Yeoman is crossed quill pens. So
... how does a slide rule crossed by a quill pen strike you? The quill pen
representing the writer's craft and the slide rule representing technology.
