Gang,

There seems to be a bit of confusion. Here's the
scoop on ads:

Ads may not ever be posted directly to TECHWR-L.

Why? For two reasons:
* ad revenue supports this list and this
site. Ad revenue allows us to purchase new articles
for the site, to provide new services, and to cover
hosting costs.
* many subscribers appreciate having a clear line drawn
between ads and list messages, and have indicated repeatedly
that they prefer having all ads together--not posted to
the list.

For more information about ads, see the second article
("Ads and Announcements Clarified") in:
http://www.raycomm.com/techwhirl/whirler8.html

Contact me directly at ejray -at- raycomm -dot- com with questions--
this is not open for discussion on the list.
