I've always said that learning to be truly comfortable in chaos was the most
important survival skill I ever honed to perfection! :-)

The problem is, people don't want technology -- they want magic. And since
the entire industry is operating under a giant group delusion that they can
deliver magic, the process is inherently going to be messy.
