Emily asked about updating directory paths in cross references when files
have moved to different directories. Emily, you can have FrameMaker help you
udpate the cross references.

To have FrameMaker help you,

1. Open the file with the broken cross references.
2. Under Edit, choose Update References.
3. On the Update References dialog, select All References.
4. The Update Unresolved Cross References dialog appears, listing the files
to which the current document has cross references.
5. For each file in that list, click on the file name, and Frame will tell
you the number of unresolved references to that file.
6. For each file with unresolved references, go to the lower portion of the
dialog, and change the path to the directory and file that now has those
references.
7. Frame will update the cross reference to the new file/directory.
8. Repeat steps 5-7 until the top of the dialog says "Total of 0 Unresolved
Cross-References to Files Named:"

This usually fixes up 90+% or more of the problems in your files, IF you
know where the cross-references now reside.

I hope this helps!
