Try going to www.salary.com. Select IT-All from the
Select Job Category list. Punch in your Zip or select
your location. Click Search.

The resulting page prompts you for a job title. Wade
through the not-so-well-designed list of job titles
and pick one that fits your definition of Tech Writer
and get the salary range report.

Then do the same for your definition of TechEditor.
