To better clarify my question;

The types of grants that we are looking at give money to social
organizations. To get a RFP many of these foundations have statements like,
"for RFP send letter of intention to..."

I would like to know what should go in the letter of intention. I don't
know if these letters serve as a screening method for these foundations. If
they do, I want to make sure the letter of intention contains all the
information necessary.

Thanks,
Christine
