You need to attach the stencils to a template and open the template, or have
the it attached to the document.

Subject: Visio question

The place where I'm contracting uses Visio Standard 5.0a.

I'm used to Visio 2000... so stepping back a version or two is frustrating.

After searching Visio's help files, surfing through the Options folder, and
bothering everyone around here, I still cannot accomplish what I want - that
is, how can I open Visio so that when I open a new document, every stencil
opens up automatically along the left margin w/o having to choose each
stencil manually? It'd be great to at least choose from the column of
options/stencils, rather than clicking the stencil button on the toolbar,
choosing a folder, then choosing a stencil, then viewing the object.

Anyone with a suggestion... or is this a function available only in later
versions of Visio?
