A consistently-applied corporate style guide is a very good
thing, if I wrote it.  But even then, it will immediately be
challenged by new writing projects that do not exactly resemble 
the projects from which the rules in the style guide evolved.
You're all set up to play string quartets and suddenly you
need to play ska.  There needs to be a quick and efficient
procedure for dealing with any challengese that the style
guide does not foresee.
