Are you using Acrobat 4? We have a manual with .BMP screen captures that
look horrible when they're PDF'd in Acrobat 3, but I can use Acrobat 4 on my
laptop to turn out a file that looks OK. I have no idea why there's such a
difference, and we have tried going through a variety of settings on both
versions 3 and 4.

One other question. You ask what resolution works best...are you intending
this for screen viewing or for print?
