Sanjay,
If two hours is all the priority this manager places on learning what
you are doing, then I'd say there's not much hope. I'd hand her a few
things:
1st: Any of the documentation you've created for creating documentation
and the software you use.
2nd: A list of where you've stored all the files.
3rd: Lists of resources, books, style guides, vendors, document control
processes, backup processes, etc.
4th: Current status of projects.
You might also ask her what she wants to cover in that time so that you
can prepare the information in advance.
You know that this company is asking for trouble by putting tech writing
responsibilities on someone who's not a writer. There is no way you can
train the person on being a writer in two hours, nor on how to be an
online help author. You are to be applauded for wanting to leave in a
professional way. But we can only take responsibility for those things
that we can directly control.
You can hand her *what* you do. You can't hand her *how* you do what you
do in two hours, especially if she's not a writer.
