My understanding is that one would have to logon to the other computer
before one could "take control" of it - you'd need the user's id and
password. PC Anywhere, which has been around for ages, has similar
capabilities. For network administrators this capability would be a nirvana,
as it would be for those of us who have to coach less savvy friends and
relatives.
Now, whether MS can implement this and keep hackers out is, probably,
another story. I suspect the security issues will be no worse than now,
given that most of those have to do with file attachments in Office
applications and IE rather than OS weaknesses per se.
