I probably should have mentioned: don't try working for a startup -
or, for that matter, being a contractor of any sort - unless you're
interested in what you're doing, and like a challenge. Otherwise,
you won't be bored: you'll be scared.
The trick, I suppose, is to learn to love the adrenalin rush of life
on the edge. Either that, or to be too tired to realize the full
horror of what you're doing. Take your pick.
