FYI:
If you are not a member, or subscriber you cannot access this article. All
you can get to after an exhaustive registration process is the TOC and
abstract.

Excerpt from FAQ:
"Everyone who registers has access to the tables of contents, abstracts, and
book reviews of all issues at the Technical Communication Online site, as
well as to full text of articles that are more than one year old. However,
only subscribers with a current subscription to the print journal have
access to the full text of articles contained in the most recent four issues
of the online journal, and to the electronic forums."
