The easiest way is to rename all myfiles.fm to myfiles_OLD.fm. Next, copy
your empty template files to myfiles.fm.
Open your empty myfiles.fm and also the corresponding myfiles_OLD.fm. In
myfiles_OLD.fm, press Ctrl-a to select all, Ctrl-c to copy all, and then go
to myfiles.fm and Ctrl-v to paste the clipboard into the new template.
In the status bar, paragraphs that do not have a tag in the para catalogue
are marked with an asterisk. If you have an *old_tag that needs to be
changed to New_Tag, apply New_Tag to a paragraph. Then click in the
paragraph and type Esc e y p to copy the para tag ONLY to the clipboard.
Choose Edit > Find/Change and then set Find to Paragraph Tag and type
old_tag in the box to the right. Set Change to By Pasting. Now you can
Find, Change, or Change & Find to convert old_tag paras to New_Tag.
You can do many other conversions by searching for a tag and applying the
(previously setup) contents of the clipboard.
